Right To Maintaince And Alimony

I hv been married for 25 yrs and my husbands is seeking divorce on ground of cruelty, I hv been working for past 22 yrs n lately lost my job. What are my rights to maintaince and alimony?

Has he filed the case for divorce? You can contest the divorce case and on the contrary may file domestic violence case, if you have meted with violence and in that you may claim maintenance. You can also file another petition before family court.

wife has the rights for maintenance and alimony. you can ckaim maintenance from your husband and oppose the divorce petition if you fo not wish to give divirorce. you can also file for a restitution case.

Yes, you can get Maintenance and Alimony provided that you are not a Working Woman. If you are a Working Woman, you should have been earning nothing or have been earning less than your Husband. You have to be mentally strong to run this case in Court.
