If the Respondent has NOT filed a written reply to the main petition and also not to the amendment, but only marks attendance through advocate, you get these procedural advantages

If the respondent fails to file a reply despite opportunities, the court may close her right to reply and proceed on your pleadings. You may seek adverse inference and early evidence. Mere attendance does not cure non-reply.

you will get a no reply order and a no written statement order in your favour on the divorce petition if your evidence is started and issues are framed on which you are contesting divorce then, after the start of trial they won't have a basis on which they will ask you cross questions in the family court.
