Regarding the divorce and the alimony

Hello, it's been 3 years of my marriage(Hindu marriage), I and my husband live in my parents house (live-in son-in-law). From the day 1 he as not taken any responsibility and in future also he wants my parents to take his responsibility, they is no relation between us just the days are passing, he and his parents are not agreeing for the divorce and my parents are afraid of society but I want to dissolve this marriage. In case if we agree for the mutual divorce will I have to pay him alimony ie my parents because till now I haven't worked. My education qualification is MCA and my husband's is Diploma but before marriage they told us it's BCA.

You can file for divorce by mutual consent you need not pay him any alimony on the other hand if he doesn't agree for divorce by mutual consent we can file for alimony feel free to contact me for further guidance if you need in this regard

generally a wife will not be told to give alimony to husband at least in India. in your case there is no chance of you having to pay anything to him. mutual consent a divers means diverse and the terms that are agreed between you and him. whoever agrees to do whatever will be accepted by Court. you have not told whether you have any child. now the question is at one place you are saying that he is not agreeable for divers and again you are considering mutual consent divorce. . it appears you will have to file for one sided I was case against him and you will get it.

Hello madam, if your husband agreed then you can file for mutual consent divorce. You are not necessary give alimony. If you required your husband should give alimony. You can also contest the case for permanent alimony. If you need more advice please contact me.
