Regarding suggestions in matrimonial dispute

I am Neha , and I married on 10 February 2022. But my marital relationship are not good. My husband and mother in law is abusive. On 22 July husband beaten me that's why I came to my parents home , nI went police station for FIR registeration but police send my application for mediation, there is no call received for mediation, 1 week passed . nSo How much time taken call from mediation. And is police can not FIR before meditation in matrimonial dispute. nKindly help

If there is dowery demand and domestic violence as you said you can file case under 498a and domestic violence act. You can proceed with the above for mediation don't works For more details contact me Adv Ranjeet Sonker

police cannot send you to mediation it's the court's decision. if there's no complaint lodged till now you can file an application u/s 156(3) in the court seeking directions to the police to do so. for further assistance kindly contact me

hello ask the police again for filing of FIR against your husband and mother in law if he does not files FIR then you may go for filing an application under section 156 3 of CRPC for lodging of FIR and if it gets rejected then you may come to Allahabad High Court for more information you may call me thank you
