Dear Sir, The issue of Divorce by husband is very hard and husband's mostly do not get divorce unless there is established proof of adultery or any other cheating by the wife. On the other hand husband has to pay maintenance during the Divorce proceedings and even after divorce till she marries for second time. Better to compromise by giving lumpsum amount as a alimony and settle the matter once for all.
