Re: Mutual divorce (reason stated below) - HINDU

21-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, I will just go short here. I am 43 and my wife is 36 years old, got married in 2015 and have 2 sons (one aged 7 and one 8 months). I am stuck in a situation wherein I am BANKRUPT now and have taken loan from the market in the tune of Rs 8 lakhs and unable to pay. Keeping safety of my family and before I could take any drastic step, I want to give my wife divorce (mutual agreement). Have got no money as such, so only call if you really want to settle my case at the minimum.

If you both have decided to go through the divorce then it's advisable for you to execute a settlement deed and write down all the terms and conditions in that just to avoid any confusion in future. And on the basis of the settlement deed you can approach the court and file for a mutual divorce. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

I see no point in you breaking your family because of bad financial situation. it will only put additional stress on both you and your wife. contest the civil case of recovery of money through court. it would be difficult for them to recover as you do not have any assets.
