Query regarding the meaning of status STEPS in divorce case

30-Sep-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My husband filed a divorce case against me on the basis of false allegations. The court hearing keeps getting postponed and currently the status says 'STEPS'. Earlier it was Return of Notice Summons. What is the meaning of 'STEPS' in a civil case?

You have not mentioned whether you appeared in the case personally or through advocate, if you have not received the summons then steps means husband has to request the court to re-issue summons by making appropriate application.

It means requisite steps needs to be taken in the ongoing suit. And that the case's next stage is kept for a party or for the parties to take the requisite legal steps of preliminary in nature, so that, case should proceed forward.
