Proceed for a divorce without mutual-consent

I am Hindu girl. My husband and I've been married for 2 years. He abused me physically, mentally, financially. He insulted my parents and blamed them for everything that happened. I had to leave his house because I can't take his abuse anymore. I haven't talked to him yet but I need divorce from him. What should I do? How should I proceed? I am afraid because his family is a reputed one and very cunning people and they're not going to take this easily. My all the belongings are with them. But I need freedom from him. What should I do?
