Yes, you can apply divorce in indian court where your marriage took place or where you last resided. The notice through court have to serve him. There are many ways to send notice. 1.Notice to him by registered post, 2. Served through embassy, 3., through private notice through mailing notice to his mail and 4 paoer publication in a news paper having circulation at the place of his residence.

You can file divorce here if the marriage place or husband's local house or your last resident address is in India. You just obtain the US address and file divorce petition here and get it granted by family court here.

Are both of you willing to apply for Divorce by mutual consent? If yes, your husband can come to India for filing the divorce petition jointly and again he has to come to India after six months to obtain divorce.
