Positive and negative on applying for divorce

I am a brahmin boy got married in 2012, on January 17-2019...she went to her native place and was not willing to come back. Almost 4 months completed. So, can I apply for divorce...what are positive and negative things for me for applying for divorce...

hi 1) for applying for divorce the period of separation should be one year. 2) woman can file dowry case, domestic violence case, maintenance case etc in retaliation and it is known fact that the conviction in these cases are less than 2% 3) unless and until you are sure that all conciliatory measures have failed and you have reason to believe that your wife is never going to return, you should not file for divorce.

while you describe your situation on the return of your wife, it is unclear of the reason for her to leave the house. Do explain if there was any argument or disturbances in your marriage These grounds will be important to know before we apply for a divorce inorder to file/build a firm case with better chances of a favourable judgement
