Please advise me on my marriage Issue

Hi, I got married in feb 2022, since 3rd month of marriage my Mother-in -law started fighting to give my salary, we live a joint family , Recently on 2023 Aug, my Husband cousin is involved in drug case and FIR is filed on him and inspection was done in the house, I'm staying in my mom's place since May 2023, I wasn't aware of this , La We recently got to know that he has cheated on Marriage and have debts around 40 lakhs Can you suggest further what can be done?

Dear Madam, If you think there is no meaning in continuing the marriage and your husband cannot be changed. Then on the grounds available you can apply for Divorce with huge alimony. But, if it is contested by your husband it may take two to three years better go for mutual divorce by issuing legal notice and inviting him for mutual divorce.

firstly you can file a domestic violence case against your in law's and get all the reliefs which you require, further you have not stated how is your relationship with your husband, you have stated about your husband' s cousin, anyway if you are not happy and unable to reside or continue with the married life you can file for divorce in the place where you reside. both the cases domestic violence and divorce case can be filed at a place where you are currently residing.

if you are seeking divorce from your husband, you have to show some ground for which divorce is available under Law. Problem by mother in Law or Husband concealing that he is having debts is unfortunately not a ground. But you can file some other case da achieve what you want. Can discuss:
