is it possible to apply or start the process of mutual consent divorce by NRI couples staying outside India , without both visiting to India initially ? cannot travel due to COVID-19 travel restrictions .
mutual consent divorce can be applied in obsence of both parties during covid-19 and court has exempted presence of the parties during filing of petition, but you have to sign on petition, vakalat, application and verifying affidavit and send it through ambasse. thereafter you can get conciliation and evidence through vedeo conference by filing application for seeking permission to vedeo conference as per law and you have to bear cost of such speciality, but after filing of consent petition you have to wait for six months, some time some court may exempt waiting period
