We got married in 1996 at Patna then lived in Gurgaon until 2005 before we moved to UK. Now my wife has filed for separation in UK. I am looking for filing divorce in India as we married here. I need the advice if that's possible and what could be pros and cons if I go for this.
Yes, you can file divorce case in Gurugram as you both last resided togther here in Gurugram. You have every right to file a divorce case as per hindu marriage act, as you got married in india only. Even you can file it in Patna aslo. For more detailed discussion you can contact me for the same.
