Well, I can assist you to resist the illegitimate demands made by your Ex-Girlfriend in respect of assuring you of not filing cases against you. I suggest you, that, record all the evidences against her, where she is trying to extort you and lodge a case of extortion against her. As far as legal notice is concerned, it is just a tactic to create pressure upon you. Legality of her Legal Notice can be scrutinized.

It is important to know as to whether that person has filed any FIR or not against you or your wife. It is pertinent tk know whether the demand for 10 lakhs is as and by way of defamation or is she blackmailing your wife. If it is a blackmail then you can approach the Police for the same. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal assistance as regards the same.

No worriez forthwith your wife has to reply to the said notice. How to handle this issue is totally depends on your firm stand to whome you give priority, to married life i.e.wife or to your extra marital affair woman's allegations accusations to your wife.. Your wife's rections were natural after letting know your extra marital affair. Now it's upto you whether to stand by your wife side or not.
