Need to know about Adultery case

Hi Sir / Madam, I'm an unmarried woman I had affair with the married men for 1 year now his wife has came to know about this thing. She is threatening me like anything I'm just 22 please help me how can I solve this issue what are the possibility to do , and are the possibility that his wife can put complaint ? Kindly help me !

Even though what you have done is wrong, you do not need to bother about criminal action. Adultery is not a crime anymore. If needed, the wife of your boyfriend can use it to seek divorce from him. So police complaint cannot be acted upon.

adultery is not an offence in India now it is trapped by the supreme court by its judgement so you need not worry about the criminal consequences of the adultery if you want to marry the person they knew was that person to apply divers against his wife and after getting divorce you can marry that a person legally
