Need advice on a forcible marriage in India

My girlfriend was forced to marry a guy that her family wanted. She was emotionally pressurised for this but she wants to get separated/divorced and live with me now and marry as well. Please advice what should be done.

Yes your girlfriend can file divorce case against her husband on the cruelty ground. But condition is that she can file divorce case against her husband after one year of marriage. it is a settled position of law that a girl or a guy cannot be forced to marry against their consent. if it has already happened, you would need sufficient proof to show that the consent was obtained through force, coercion.
