Need advice - can unemployeed husband ask for litigation and related e

Hi I am 54 and unemployeed from last 2 yrs. wife filed 498/dv and Divorce at bangalore and i live at pune. now i can not afford the expenses like travel , food , etc . so the question is can i ask wife via court to pay me the litigation and related expenses ? i am not asking for maintenance . wife ,son and daughter all are earning a good salary .

Hi, where case is filled you have to appear there only. Otherwise you have another remedy if you can’t travel from other city to attend the case you can approach Supre court for transfer of case on your unemployment grounds. Another way is leave the case divorce will be granted ex parte.
