if you handle the case well you can avoid her getting properties that are the name of your parents. in DV case it is not the income or asset of the spouse that counts. what counts is the amount of compensation that can be awarded for meeting out violence on the petitioner.

Dear Sir She is employed and not entitled for any maintenance unless you have children. Wife has no rights over properties of your parents. You may challenge DVC in High Court and get it quashed. Better get both MC cases clubbed together and put to common trial.

Hi,as you mentioned that she is earning and your are earning more tha that so court will consider maintenance based many factors but you have all defence based on your present fact which will be mentioned by your counsel. On the question of whether she is entitled to claim your parents property that also depends on whether that property is inherited or acquired property of your parents. If it acquired property then no body can claim it not of your wife as well, Bot if it is ancestral property then she can claim based on your share in that property.
