My wife cheated on me with several partners

8 months into marriage I caught my wife cheating on me with several partners. I have got all the evidences but she is refusing for mutual divorce according to Muslim marriage act. Please suggest me how can i file a divorce & how long it will take for final decision in court.

If she is not willing to proceed for mutual divorce then you may take the route of contested divorce as per sec 2 of the dissolution of muslim marriage act 1939. Time period can not be assured as it defers from case to case. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact Thanks

You should file an initimation / intallah peshbandi enunciating the fact regarding cheating by your wife. Simulatenously issue a legal notice to wife calling her for mutual consent divorce and highlighting the cheating aspect. Thereafter you may divoce her Talaq e Ahsan

adultery can be a base for getting divorce so you can file a divorce case and normally it will take approx 2 year beacause your wife is not ready for divorce . hire a good lawyer who can help you in this.
