My son got registered with fake marriage card which is not acceptable


09-Mar-2024 (In Divorce Law)
After making secret marriage by registration they approached parents to accept the same but we rejected and vent to the lawyer to cancel the fake marriage lawyer asked me one lakh for complete process and agreed resolve the problems with in six months and we paid the full payment after he took 1year to file a petition we have already handed over necessary documents and he took 1year to make an evidence also our opponents claims nothing my lawyer asking me another 1lakh what to do please suggest

it is sad and disheartening to hear that an advocate did promise you something improbable. you cannot file any petition or case against your children or someone else to cancel some marriage whether it is a genuine marriage or fake marriage. as far as my knowledge is concerned such a case does not exist...

okay I understand your questions so you have already paid letigation fees but your problems is not solved till right so you are already gine the documents to your counsel so you can take take Nov from them they are not doing g ood work for yours faver and marriage is fake marriage you said you have all the documents related fake marriage that is important.

Dear Sir, It is the agreement between the couple and it is not so easy to get a marriage cancelled unless both couple agreed for mutual divorce. If the Advocate is asking high fees then get No Objection Certificate from that Advocate and approach any other Advocate and file Mutual Divorce normally the fee may be decided before handing over the case.
