My parents 54 and 56 have been married for 22 years now and I am 19. My dad has always been alchoholic, there was even domestic abuse involved when I was young and they continue to fight every single day. They involve in physical and verbal fights on most days. My mom earns a pretty minimum wage as a beautician here and my dad is a driver and spends all his earnings on alchohol, he hasn't financially helped with my education ever. He would never agree for the divorce or seperation.

she can file for divorce on the ground of cruelty and not maintaining her and not paying for expenses of family. even if the your dad does not consent for separation I have method by which he will have to agree,

Dear Sir/Madam, It is better yourself and your mom reside separately and if your mom agrees she may lodge complaint against your father in the Police Station also start Domestic Violence case against your father. Since your father is a Driver you cannot expect any substantial amounts from him for your higher education.
