My in-laws and husband were torturing me

11-Mar-2023 (In Divorce Law)

My mother in law asked me not to come back if I visited my sick father, so my husband decided to live separately. Then my husband started threatening me with divorce and to leave me everyday for 4 months, he made me quit my job and asked me to not enter the bedroom. Finally he hit me because it told him to stop threatening me and asked me to leave the house. I left but I came back and asked his parents to help with his anger, he again hit me in front of his parents so I left him. He apologised and we tried to patch things up but now he has disappeared since 2 months and changed his phone number that only his parents have. We have been married for only 9 months. What can I do?

That’s very sad to hear ma’am but kindly be strong and fight it out and I’m sure you definitely will. As far as the remedies that you have are concerned, you may approach the court by filing a complaint under section 12 of the Domestic violence Act. In addition to that you may also seek maintenance from him. You must file the case against against the entire family because from whatever you’ve written I can see that they too were equally involved. You may contact me in case of any help required.

hello client as i can see your issues is really serious in natrure as well as you inlaws and your husband need to be get punishment and send them to the jail they deserve it. your matter is very senitive its true but they need to take an immidiate legal action on ur inlaws.

If your husband has abandoned you then you can file a immediate complaint in the police station women cell and seek their help. Also your in laws would be asked for his contact details.
