My Husband wants divorce, Religion - Hindu, no Kids

17-Mar-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, I have left my Husband's house as we used to have arguments regularly and I am not comfortable staying there, so I moved to my Parents house and requesting him to relocate to house near my Parent's house. Arguments were regarding Financial matters - My Husband wants me to share household expenses and I am ready to share only if he relocates near my parents house. (we both are working) My question is - if my husband wants his mother to stay with him, what is wrong if I wish to stay near my Parents. my Husband is adamant and does not wants to relocate the house near my parents house as he is not comfortable with my Parents being nearer. It has been 4 months now since we last seen each other and there is no communication between us. I came to know that he is planning to apply for divorce but I wish to continue the marriage, please let me know the possible legal options that I have. (We are married for last one year and do not have Kids, Religion - Hindu)

Dear Madam, You have to file Domestic Violence case and other cases against your husband and also claim monthly Maintenance and can stay comfortably in your parents house. Just file 125 Cr.P.C application claiming maintenance and thus you will get interim Maintenance immediately.

you can contest the divorce petition if he files any petition... usually for such frivolous grounds courts will not grant divorce... husband is bound to maintain wife... if he files for divorce you can file for maintenance... feel free to consult for further guidance if you need any in this regard
