My Husband is saying that he would get One Sided divorce .

Is it possible to have such One-sided divorce, in case of Hindu Marriage ? Shall be thankful for your response.

Yes on can get and it’s called ex-parte divorce, which means that second party does not comes in court and if court thinks ok, then court gives ex-parte divorce to the party who has filed the same. Thanks for connecting with team Lawrato.

Hello yes your husband can file one sided divorce under section 13(1) of Hindu marriage act on the ground of cruelty or other grounds specified in the Hindu marriage act. But you can defend/contest the case in the court denying any allegations made by your husband in the petition. you can also avail several remedies available under Hindu marriage act and other relevant acts
