My husband has filed 13(1A)(i) after be sending the legal notice. we have a joint property where after me clearing all the documents he is willing to pay my investment mad toward property in form of investment fund in child's name which can used for future education. No alimony. As the fund return is my investment. Can i still claim child maintenance and currently in last 3 years old child is under been taken care by me with out any financial support.. Please advise. Even if let go the property

You can file for child's maintenance even after arriving at arrangement in your divorce trial till the child attaining majority. what I suggest that ask Court to send the divorce matter for mediation and arrange all these with help of your advocate.

Dear Madam, You can claim maintenance for your child as it is primary responsibility of the husband to share 50% of education and other expenses of the child if the mother of the child is also a working woman. You are also entitled for alimony if your husband salary is more than your salary even if not you are entitled for refund of marriage expenses and compensation for breaking the marriage.
