Mutual divorce process initiation

20-Feb-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I have a question regarding mutual consent divorce. My husband and i have decided to part our way. Do we have to live separately for 1 year first and then file for mutual divorce? Or is there some process/filing that we should do before starting to live separately for one year?

Dear Madam You are under wrong notion. If you have completed one year of married life then you can file mutual divorce petition. Cooling period is 6 months. This oeriod may be waived of if proper reasons are given.
