Mutual divorce - housewife & husband both living together in UAE

I’m a housewife and mother of two kids. My husband is working in private sector . We have 2 kids and we are living together in UAE since 10 years. We got married in 2014. Now due to personal conflicts we are planning to divorce on mutual terms. We would like to know more about divorce law and how to start with the process in India. How the child custody would be if one person is living abroad. How much would be the lawyer fee and does the spouse has to travel to India for court sittings ?

you can apply for mutual divorce and get it emergent by filing a petition..you can apply for child custody by giling a petition. you can decide child custody conditions in prior. for any queries contact me

Ma'am, you need to file a mutual divorce petition before the family court in your jurisdiction. The proceedings for a mutual divorce will take six months. Before filing, both of you need to finalize the terms of child custody and the return of any remaining property, such as gold ornaments. You and your partner need to be present in court only at the time of filing. Lawyer fees vary, but I will charge only 30k for handling the mutual divorce.
