After filling it takes 6 months to complete depending on the court you r filing. The total cost for is RS 18k. Documents that are required are as follows:
1) marriage certificate
2) Id proof for both husband and wife
3)2 passport photo for both husband and wife

As per the query in law rato yes if u want you can file a mutual divorce but please let us know the jurisdiction of the where lastly reside and for how long u guys were separated .please let us know as early as possible.

it varies from court to court, lawrato charges can only be mentioned by them, under which jurisdictional court do you reside, a divorce petition and affidavit in chief will be prepared and your marriage certificate, aadhar card and 5 passport size copies will be required of each one of you
