Hello, Mutual Consent divorce is by far the best mode for amicable and resolution of issue. You may address the issue to your wife. Once both of you agree to follow the same, You may appoint an advocate to file a petition under section 13 B under Hindu Marriage Act. Since it is uncontested and mutual it might cost you way less than a contested divorce. Usually takes 6 months if all goes well and if resolved amicably. Feel free to connect for further assistance and help.

Mutual consent divorce is granted by court only when both husband and wife are ready for it. If do not want divorce, do not agree for mutual consent divorce. And if you do not agree , your wife has to file for contested divorce by giving ground for it and you can always contest in court.
