Mental harassment verbal abuse domestic violence
11-Apr-2025 (In Divorce Law)
I am a 30 year old women and a mother of a 6 months old. We got married in November 2023 . He works in a government institution. He has always been aggressive and controlling but I hoped that he would try to be better after getting married and having a child. It is difficult to handle this situation right now . I just want to run away from him . I am sure now that he will not change. Right now I am mostly concerned about my daughter well being. I can not trust him with her . He can do anything.
I understand how difficult and overwhelming this situation must be for you, especially with a young child involved. You have every right to seek safety and well-being for yourself and your daughter. Based on what you’ve shared, you can consider legal remedies such as filing for divorce on grounds of cruelty and seeking child custody to ensure your daughter’s protection. Interim relief for maintenance and residence rights can also be explored. Please know that you are not alone — I recommend scheduling a detailed consultation where we can discuss all your options and take steps to ensure your and your child’s safety and future security.
