My husband is a alcoholic person, he becomes abusive physicaly and mentally to both me and my son...He is not able to work in any place because of his alcohol habit, he is being asked to leave. I have been taking my son responsibilities soley. He and me mutually agreed for the second child and now he is not taking any responsibility as he is not wanting to work..He does not help me financially.

You have mentioned the facts. You are required to mention your query as well. You both must meet a marriage counselor and try to get your husband admitted in a rehab facility to quit alcohol. If still the abusive actions continue, you may proceed legally by filing domestic violence case and FIR against him.

You can file application in the court under Protection of women from domestic violence Act against your husband in the local court of your area.
In that application you can claim maintenance amount to you and your son from your husband.
