I am working professional and has been separated from my husband for 2 years now as I was thrown out of my matrimonial house for not giving enough dowry. Is it possible for me to seek maintenance from my husband even if I am working
See you have an option to file a complaint under section 12 of the domestic violence act and seek maintenance, return of streedhan, separate residence order etc. Further you may also file a complaint for dowry demand under section 498a. Maintenance can be claimed by a working wife to balance the standard of living at par with that of the husband

hello mam as us you are saying tht your working at present and your inlaws as well as your husband has thrown your out if the home on the name of dowery. in this matter you can claim maintinane as well as you can also send them behind the jail in criminal case. and teach them a lesson also.
