Maintenance for mutual divorce

One of my friend did marriage with intercast and other state girl before 8 years. However due to personal reasons he again married a girl in his village with non consent of earlier wife before 3 years. Now earlier wife know about this case and she want mutual divorce and demanding 40-45 Lakhs .for her maintainace. Pls advice.my friend is working in PSU since 2008 and gross salary is around 1 lakhs
Hi sir what had happened and all what did the wife say and all when did the wife say and all this and all why will she demand so much of money how much is the husband earning And all u can file for divorce and all and tell the court that wife is pressuring the husband for Money and all

In this case, I advice you that first you need to know with whom you want to live with first or second wife. As your second marriage is not valid marriage and same is illegal. You at the same time is liable to be prosecuted for section 494 IPC, if second does not support you. Try to understand if you get rid of first wife then you are getting off thing which is legal and living with second wife which is an illegal act though it gets dissolved later.
