If the behaviour of your husband is intolerable towards you can anytime send a legal notice in writing regarding your grievances through an advocate. And if you wish to go legal then you can also file a petition under section 12 DV or section 125 CrPC and claim maintenance for yourself. And if there's no scope of living together then rather stretching the relationship you should file for contested divorce under the ground of cruelty. I would suggest you to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

No you yourself can never send a legal notice unless you are an Advocate with your own stamp and signature which is a must for any legal notice. otherwise send through a lawyer for paying you maintenance

You have to send through a lawyer but it is valueless in your case you must file maintenance case cause once you filed it is going to be authentic documents and it is secure also as your husband must abide the court order if not he has to face the consequences.

no legal notice cannot sent by a non lawyer. a legal notice must have a lawyer's signature and it must be on the letter head of a lawyer. however, you can send a letter in writing seeking maintenance, please note that the said letter cannot be considered as a legal notice. moreover, in case of maintenance no legal notice is required, you can approach the court directly under section 125 of crpc for maintenance. for further queries please contact the undersigned.
