Looking for separation from cruel husband 2 kids hindu married muslim

I am 31 yr old female having 2 kids (son 10 yr + Daughter 5 yr old) I am an Hindu Married Muslim in 2007 it is love marriage he & his family really loves me a lot but my husband is very possessive due to that each and every thing he will look into a bigger view for small things and he is drunker who torcher’s me physically and mentally, beats me and abuse me and my family too much. I tried my best to manage and tolerate at the max from past 10+ yrs now I can’t tolerate any more his domination and other stubborn conditions. Hence I would like to separate legally from him along with my kids. Kindly do the needful.
You can file a petition for divorce under the provisions of special marriage act. you can also seek maintenance or alimony for you and your children. If you are earning and having individual income maintenance cannot be asked for yourself. but you can very well ask for your children.

Under what procedure you have married ? Have you converted to Islam ? Then you have to obtain divorce under a Law enacted for muslim women. If you have married under special marriages Act then you can file for divorce without going for any personal Laws.
