Limitation period of appeal the divorce decree in Supreme Court

Hi, Limitation period of appeal in Supreme Court against high court divorce decree starts from when? Does it starts from the day of judgement or receiving the decree ? For example : HC passed divorce order on 20 October -24then other party has to appeal against this order in Apex court by 20 January 25. Am I right ?

limitations are starting from the date of judgement pronounced in open court, and it is 90 days from the date of judgement pronounced by the family court to the high court and from the high court to supreme court.

Limitation to file any appeal commence from the date of receiving the certified copy of the Decree sheet. The limitation period to file any appeal against the order of the High Court is 90 days from the date of receiving the copy of the Order by the party. Limitation will starts from the date of receiving of the order/judgement. You need to show that when you applied and received the certified copy of the Judgement. thanks we are AOR in the Supreme court.

in the limitations period , the Supreme court condon the delay Max 2 years , so the delay whatever may be condon . so there is no need to worry about limitations period. it is very simple .But delay must not be intentional , there will be reason to delay
