Legal Advice Needed – Canceling Marriage Due to Concealed Information

Recently, we arranged a marriage for my brother, and the engagement is already completed. However, we later discovered that the girl has a boyfriend, and they had a physical relationship before her marriage. Despite her family knowing about this, they concealed the information from us. Now, my brother is feeling depressed and wants to cancel the marriage. How should we proceed legally?

you have not said what is the stage of the marriage whether invitations are printed and distributed if it is done so with the consent of the girls parent you can stop but if they are considering this ICS serious offence then you undergo the marriage and after that you apply for nallenvoid in the court even you have a chance if they are creating any problem give your police complaint and you can make a settlement in the police station but you feel the marriage should not be performed you can give you a legal notice and you can also have time and injection order from the Civil Court that the girl and they are compuling you to marry and you can approach the court they should not force you to marry that girl

Hello sir or mam, this is purely a personal issue and I think you don't need a legal procedure to apply here. your brother has all the rights to choose his partner according to his wish and this is also ensured in our Indian laws. therefore your brother need not worry about these issues and he has all the rights to cancel his marriage when he dislikes the girl. Yes, you can call off the marriage. Take a notice to her stating the facts and reasons and demand the articles if any given by you. Defend the complaints or cases if she would file, with the evidences you have against her.

Marriage to the other side party stating the entire information and telling them that they are information which betrothal cost compensation that has already been spent along with expenses. It is highly recommended that you do not wait till the last minute for sending the notice.
