If my wife is unnecessarily extending the divorce case even when I am ready to pay a settlement amount, Can I take any legal action against her?
First make it clear weather this petition had been filed by you and if so make it clear weather she had filed written statement. If she is contesting the case then you have to prove on merits. If conciliation took place move for mutual terms.
