Is divorce granted to Hindus under Sharia law acceptable in India?

28-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, both my husband and I are Hindus and got married in India as per Hindu rituals. Now I want to divorce him. We live outside India, in a Muslim country. If I get a divorce here, which will be under Sharia law, will it be acceptable in India? Please help.

No , that is not enough. In addition to the divorce decree granted by the court of muslim country , you have to file for mutual divorce in the competent court of law in India. Then your divorce will be considered final.
