It is not hard n fast rule to stuck to one lawyer. The basic thing is that the lawyer should act as per your suggestions n statements. Even if you change the lawyer there is no issue. The lawyer should be true to you.

Yes, you can ask your husband's lawyer for 2nd motion hearing from your side also.
You correctly mean common lawyer for both of you. My suggestion is, read properly the documents at the time of 2nd motion hearing. Whatever you had filed at 1st motion hearing and before that must not get changed or contradicted at 2nd motion hearing.

For safety side I would like to suggest you appoint separate advocate for your side. "Chalata Hai" attitude of Indian clients many times endanger them. Considering this is your 2nd motion hearing your new advocate might charge less or more. If you have money don't hesitate and if you don't have money please negotiate. Keep it in mind always safety comes first.
Best of luck and do not miss your case date 17/01/2018 complete that 2nd motion hearing. Never allow Mutual Consent Petitions to get delayed.

Yes you can engage your husband lawyer to attend the second motion , you personally can argue for your side, also you can mention the above mentioned difficulty to Hon'ble Court. but comply with all requirement mentioned in the affidavit filed at the time of first motion.
Before attending second motion take guidance of Any Advocate, for practical difficulty.
