Actually , personal earning does not bar from claiming maintenance , but you have to justify your needs to the level where the contribution of husband salary to your personal care and maintenance is inevitable. Generally the government employee are more prone to any such claim ,court shall directly order to salary bank of your husband to transfer the amount.

Hello, I am Advocate Sudesh. Regarding your situation, please note that yes, you are legally entitled to claim maintenance from your husband. While you are earning ₹30,000, there is a significant disparity between your income and your husband's monthly salary of over ₹1 lakh. Under Indian law, a wife is entitled to maintain a lifestyle similar to that of her husband. The court considers the husband's total income, his liabilities, and your standard of living to determine a fair maintenance amount. Since there are no children, the focus will primarily be on balancing the economic status of both parties. To discuss the specific maintenance amount you can expect and to build a strong legal strategy, I recommend booking a Paid Consultation with me for a detailed case evaluation.

you can claim maintenance from your spouse only if the court states that you are unable to maintain yourself itr proof of both parties needed then the family court will decide whether 1/4 of the husband's income will be taxed or no

there is no barred for getting maintenance from your husband. mostly court practice for award maintenance 1/4 share of the gross salary from the husband. or mainly depends on the advocate who present the case in the court.
