I would like to know what will happen next

I flied divorce against my husband on jan, 2025 as he is in an affair with another women. he came to court for counselling and did not agree for mutual agreement. After counselling he came to court for around 3 hearings and once his lawyer contacted my lawyer for mutual and after signing in mutual, he disagreed in court that he needs more time for mutual. After that he stopped coming to court and he is now living with the lady whom he had affiar with. every month im going to court

S.Gunasekar advocate answer, In January 2025 divorce case was filed against your husband after which the court sent him for counseling three times but there was no settlement and again he was sent to the court after which if your husband does not appear in the court then you can get divorce on one side.

You have not mentioned whether your first divorce petition is still pending or not, whether you and your husband have filed divorce by mutual consent petition after withdrawing the first petition? Presuming that your first petition for divorce is pending, it will be taken to the next step where your husband will file his counter statements.
