I paid 2.5 lacs to my husband to stay with him

Our marriage is not in good terms, I am paying my husband to stay in his home, we are staying in lease and he is demanding 1lacs from me again I have already paid 2 lacs in cheque and 50k in cash, lease house is in his name, after divorce can I get amount paid to him i.e 2.5lacs

your query on refund of amount absolutely not enforceable under law, but you can initiate action against your husband for his action and force indirectly to return money or claiming maintenance, even during granting divorce you can put demand of certain amount but your husband must in position to come forward to give money .
