I have a girlfriend who was forced to marry. I want to save her.

18-Jun-2024 (In Divorce Law)
Hello, I have a girlfriend whose marriage was forcibly arranged by her family, now her husband beats her, gives her depression and does not keep her happy at all. He keeps her as if the girl is his toy and he kidnaps her. My girlfriend does not want to stay with him at all. But she is forced to stay with him as if some monster has been left in a room with a small child. I want to help her from outside in getting her a divorce and what else should I do. So that his life can be saved.

If she is getting unnecessary harassment from her husband and in-laws then she can anytime send a complaint regarding her grievances in writing to the police station or CAW cell according to her jurisdiction. And if the situation is insecure for her then she can also file a complaint under the DV act or section 125 CrPC before the court and apply for her monthly maintenance or even apply for judicial separation and after 1 year can apply for divorce. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

If she's not happy then she can take divorce and if her husband committing cruelty upon her then she can also file domestic violence case, claim maintenance from him and file complaint in a police station so that an FIR under section 498A could be registered.

You can help her by engaging a lawyer and filing a divorce case by your gf only and also maintenance case , domestic violence case and sec 498A case against her husband and family. Also, if they agree for mutual divorce that would be the quickest way out
