Dear sir/madam, my wife filed 498A one year back. The chargesheet is filed. Now it is in evidence stage. Summon is issued by court. But wife didnot appear for evidence.If wife didnot appear, can I get the case dismissed ? can i request judge to dismiss the case on default. (No physical and medical evidences of 498A case).

Q: Shall I eligible to get maintenance now, I stopped work aft separation

I filed sec9, husband filed sec13 1 ia. Court counseling failed. No kids. I earned upto 90k per month. From 2 years we got separated and I stopped working last 2 years ago. Hi, I am a British citizen and was married for 2 years to an Indian lady (citizen). We both lived in the UK. After 2 years we separated and (in 2020) and filed for divorce in 2023. As I am looking to re-marry an Indian citizen is the UK decree valid and do I need to register it in India before my marriage. I was married under the Hindu Marriage Act.
