I am a heart patient. My wife filed divorce and DV 6 years ago.

08-Mar-2024 (In Divorce Law)
My wife had filed for Divorce DV and maintenance. She withdrew the maintenance in 125 Section. In Aug 2022 I underwent open heart bypass surgery. But still my heart is working at 35% only. I am unable to walk or travel. My anxiety levels are high and I am unable to travel. I live in South India and am a South Indian. I married a North Indian lady. Can I file for transfer of petitions to my city here? How soon can I get the cases transferred and whats the procedure?

Yes...for the purpose of transfer of the case to your city you need to approach the Supreme Court and file a transfer petition and you also need to annex the medical documents about your heart conditions. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

You can petition the Hon'ble Supreme Court to transfer the cases from north India to south India. Your reasons appear to constitute valid grounds for such a request. Generally court is inclined to accept such requests
