Husband wants divorce on basis of cruelty

there was constant fights between mu husband , in laws and me. They used to abuse me and sometimes i also abused thrm but my husband make recording of that. now he is asking for divorce. i dont have any recordings. what should i do.pls suggest.i dont want divorce also. pls suggest best possible wat to avoid divorce
