Maam Only way is to go ahead with domestic violence complaint against your inlaws and also file for maintenance, there are chances that in counselling you might be able to convince your husband that it’s his parents fault and he may live separately with you. Otherwise only option is divorce which is far fetched right now. Regards Advocate Sanchit Goyal

Your matrimonial issue seems to be very serious and gravity would suggest you to file domestic violence complaint and Maintenance at the earliest possible. You may connect and discuss in detail about your case and explore other legal options aswell

If the behaviour of your in-laws is intolerable towards you then you can anytime send a complaint regarding your grievances in writing to the police station according to your jurisdiction and register a FIR under section 498a. And if you wish to go legal then you can also file a petition under section 12 DV or section 125 CrPC and claim maintenance for yourself as well as for your minor child. And if there's no scope of living together then rather stretching the relationship you should file for contested divorce under the ground of cruelty. I would suggest you to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
