Husband filed a divorce petition citing staying away from home

My girlfriend's elder sister had married of just 4 month ago to a police ASI. Though the guy promised to take his wife with him to his working place and take a quarter there, he left behind his wife alone in his village house after marriage. The girl though managed to stay there for more than a month, she came back to her father thereafter. The husband is building a new house and the girl hoped that she would go there after completion of the house. Meantime the husband files a divorce petition and also sent notice to her parents. What should we do now?
reply to the notice citing reason of staying away from home and your unwillingness to divorce. there must be something that happened from the day she is the village home and she comeback to her father's place. may be verbal fight or non verbal fight. try to find out. try to settle it amicably.

on the divorce petition the reason is mention why he is giving divorced to the girl otherwise appoint a lawyer and accordingly need to take legal action against that husband inquire that the husband is married with another woman or not and if so then regal action can be taken
