Husband declining to pay for monthly house expenses

Hi , I am a muslim woman & I had a nikah after that we registered the marriage under the Special Marriages Act. My salary is 1lac + no assets+ loans. My husbands salary is 2.5 lac + assets on EMI still he is refusing to pay for monthly house expenses. I asked for mutual settlement but he is unable to meet my maintenance amount demands . Will i be eligible for maintenance under special marriages act or will Muslim law apply? And can i file a domestic complaint for non payment of monthly expenses.

okay I understand your questions so your husband not paid any house maintenance right. so you can ask through court for maintenance from him if you are intrestes like domestice voulance under women's protection Act Or section 125 of crpx you have two chance but if you have a child or not you are not mentioned your questions so if you have a child you get 10 present of child maintaimance so you can go through court and ask legaly you have a chance to get

It seems you are living under one roof. In that case even if you are earning husband has to share domestic expenses in proportion te his income. There is no bar to this even if your marriage is also registered under Special Marriages Act.

Dear Madam, It seems your husband is a money minded person and see that you must have no Bank balance and at begging state. Immediately file Domestic Violence case and seek monthly maintenance from your husband who is earning more than double when compare to your family. Investment by your husband in purchasing property will not be consider as expenditure.
